From one of our Loyal Angie's List Customers I am US Marine stationed in Japan and renting out my home in the greater Tampa Bay area. The upstairs bonus room air conditioner failed and I used Angie’s List to locate this business. Lloyd responded promptly, met my tenant, and quickly repaired the old unit. Based on the age of the AC, I wanted to replace it since it would likely fail again in the near future, not to mention that I wanted a more energy efficient system (the old one was a power hog). Kaylon, Lloyd’s wife and office manager, corresponded with me through e-mail and answered all of my questions. I learned that Lloyd is a retired Naval Officer, which explained why this company could relate to the challenges of managing a home while moving numerous times. Upon my request, Lloyd provided estimates for several energy saving systems in a range of prices. I selected a model that fit my budget and will clearly pay for the cost difference (selected a slightly more expensive unit with higher SEER rating) in only a few years. Of note, I had one other estimate from another highly rated company on Angie’s List and they were 20% higher for the same equipment and service. (When confronted with the price difference, the other contractor wrote, “At [omitted], we have a motto “whatever it takes.” Included in that, there is a higher cost associated with properly caring for our customers…. I am truly surprised that the difference was only 20%, most of the time we are well above most other Air Conditioning Contractors in the area….”. Personally, I am not sure why a business needs to overcharge its customers to ensure they receive quality service. Lloyd proved he could provide the highest quality of service / equipment and do it for less money. This is genuinely a great company and I felt like I was dealing with family. The AC was installed as advertised, the cost never fluctuated (no hidden charges), the service done immediately, and results exceeded even my high expectations.
