I am US Marine stationed in Japan and renting out my home in the greater Tampa Bay area. The upstairs bonus room air conditioner failed and I used Angie’s List to locate this business. Lloyd responded promptly, met my tenant, and quickly repaired the old unit. Based on the age of the AC, I wanted to replace it since it would likely fail again in the near future, not to mention that I wanted a more energy efficient system (the old one was a power hog). Kaylon, Lloyd’s wife and office manager, corresponded with me through e-mail and answered all of my questions. I learned that Lloyd is a retired Naval Officer, which explained why this company could relate to the challenges of managing a home while moving numerous times. Upon my request, Lloyd provided estimates for several energy saving systems in a range of prices. I selected a model that fit my budget and will clearly pay for the cost difference (selected a slightly more expensive unit with higher SEER rating) in only a few years. Of note, I had one other estimate from another highly rated company on Angie’s List and they were 20% higher for the same equipment and service. (When confronted with the price difference, the other contractor wrote, “At [omitted], we have a motto “whatever it takes.” Included in that, there is a higher cost associated with properly caring for our customers…. I am truly surprised that the difference was only 20%, most of the time we are well above most other Air Conditioning Contractors in the area….”. Personally, I am not sure why a business needs to overcharge its customers to ensure they receive quality service. Lloyd proved he could provide the highest quality of service / equipment and do it for less money. This is genuinely a great company and I felt like I was dealing with family. The AC was installed as advertised, the cost never fluctuated (no hidden charges), the service done immediately, and results exceeded even my high expectations. Don’t get AC work done without calling Lloyd first!

Since you dealt primarily with my now late husband, I was always aware of your quality of service and fairness in billing for your services. I will always remember the first time you were called and you came to install a compressor when ours failed. I was ill and needed heat badly. You came out in horrible weather and got our system operating properly in spite of the bad weather. We never forgot that. .... You did not ever disapoint us whatsoever.
